The Nurture Care Team purpose is to serve our congregation as Christ served his own by having and showing compassion and love to those who are experiencing sickness, loss, loneliness or any grievance that life sometimes bring.
Our goal is to build a team of coordinators, one coordinator for each of the following means for care:
1) prayer, 2) visiting, 3) written notes, 4) food.
Each of these coordinators will then form a network of people who are willing and able to occasionally participate with us in expressing care for our church members and attendees. As needs arise, each will take steps to try and get the best care out to meet that needs as we can.
Our mission is to support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others. We meet regularly - most first Sundays of the year - for breakfast and we are involved in both conducting events and supporting others.

We actively support local ministries that help those in need in Walton County and the local area. We do not keep money on hand to assist individuals but give to these agencies who do work with individuals. If you are in need in our community please reach out to either Shepherd Staff in the Loganville area or FISH in Monroe.
We also support the United Methodist Children's Home and Murphy Harpst as they work with families and children in need.
We seek to live out Jesus' command from Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth."
This is why we are active in local, regional, and worldwide missional work.
